One of the activities that graced the 1st General Assembly of the Tamaraw Volunteers this school year 05-06 is the induction of the NOT-THAT-NEWLY-ELECTED Executive Board Members. The ceremony was headed by Prof. Jose V. Faustino, a university coordinator slash senior adviser, who served as the inducting officer. Ooops! Wait! Where’s the president? She’s supposed to be here… Haha. Ridiculous as it may seem. Our dear President, Kares Salendrez along with our Health Services Directress, Nonaleam Dumlao, wasn’t there during the ceremony. Oh my! This would ruin the event. Or not. So as to give halt to these casualties, the ceremony had persisted of course, with the awed audience. After the roll call, Prof Faus proceeded with the following lines: Please raise your right hand and repeat after me… … … … Yes! The induction had ended without them. When we asked them where had they been, Ate Kares, as I fondly call her, told us that she was at the photocopying machine. Don't dare ask what has she photocopied that time.Well, I'll tell you: COPY OF OATH-TAKING LINES. This is really funny! right?! Anyways, let's just have the three of you (Ate Kares, who was at the photocopying lobby, Ate Nona, who has unknown whereabouts that tiime and Jenny, the Nursing stude who can't afford to absent herself from calss)inducted on the next general assembly of the org... :-D
